The Pinot Noir grape variety originates from the French region of Burgundy. Yet, it is found all around the World, with the USA a major producer of high-quality Pinot Noirs, particular in California. This grape thrives in cool conditions and grows in small, tightly packed clusters, similar to a pine cone. The traditional glass shape for this popular red wine features a wide bowl with a large capacity, although slightly smaller and shorter than a Burgundy glass.
