Zalto

(40 products)

The Austrian company Zalto has produced hand-blown glass since the early 14th century. The Zalto family, whose roots can be traced back to Venice, settled in the northern part of Lower Austria in Neunagelberg.

Zalto was established in 2006 and dedicated a great deal of time and attention to incredible hand-blown stemware, with acquired brands Denk Art and Zalto. Zalto has focused its ethos on producing glassware without lead oxide and is resistant to clouding.

The Zalto Denk Art is highly praised by wine connoisseurs worldwide and was influenced by the priest Hans Denk's knowledge. Hans Denk spent many decades vigorously studying and tasting wines. The development of the Zalto Denk Art collection meant wine enthusiasts and experts could fully enjoy the taste and bouquet of full-bodied wines.

Every Zalto glass piece is hand-blown by highly skilled and professional glassblowers. The unique fineness of each glass, coupled with the traditional production technique, delightfully echoes the Venetian glass artists of the Renaissance.

Wineware is delighted to offer a varied selection of Zalto glassware.
