About the Zalto Denk Art Balance Wine Glass
The new glass integrates, balances, and harmonises without distorting the underlying true character traits from terroir, fruit, saltiness, acid, and tannin structure. The glass quietens the foreground and dominance of individual flavour elements such as tannins or phenols to ensure a harmonious balance.
The size of the surface area between the Bordeaux and Burgundy glasses gives the wine the necessary space to develop. In contrast, the strong conical side walls (even more so than in the Burgundy glass) focus the aromas at a short distance, integrating them into a harmonious whole. Together with the specific aperture and a more direct angle, the glass integrates the individual characteristic aromas and flavours of the wine in this triangle in a perfectly balanced ratio.
The glass provides an ethereal delicacy while maintaining focused precision. Like the finest teas, the glass elicits subtle details from the wine without allowing certain harsh flavours to take centre stage.
