About the Liebherr Humidor Cigar Storage Cabinet - ZKes 453

Specifically designed for storing cigars, this fully electronic humidor cabinet from Liebherr is made from stainless steel with a glass door. The Liebherr ZKes 453 controls the humidity supply (68% > 75%), and you can keep the internal temperature between 16°C+ and 20°C+. You can store the cigars in either 2 x Spanish cedar wood shelves or 2 x presentation boxes. You can control the cabinet via the functional buttons on the front of the panel; this includes the light, alarm and temperature, clearly displayed by an LCD screen.

SmartSteel - SmartSteel significantly reduces the visibility of finger marks and is very easy to clean.

Precision control - Using the precision electronic control system, the temperature can be set between +16 °C and +20° C. The humidity can be set between 68% and 75%, as required. The temperature alarm alerts the user to any irregularities in the inside temperature.

Humidor: Presentation box - The cedar wood boxes are ideal for storing loose cigars and can be easily removed for presentation purposes.

Door alarm - The audible door alarm alerts the user if the door has been open for longer than 60 seconds for safe protection of the food.

Child lock - The child lock is programmed so as to prevent the appliance being inadvertently switched off.A symbol in the MagicEye indicates when the child lock is switched on.

Perfect climate for cigars - For optimum enjoyment, cigars must age for some time after manufacture in an air humidity of 68 % to 75 % in special climatic chambers. The prerequisite for the maintenance of quality or for further ageing is the guarantee of this air humidity and the maintenance of a storage temperature of +16 °C to +20 °C. If cigars are stored in low air humidity, they dry out and lose their aroma and quality. If the air humidity is too high, there is a risk of the valuable tobacco & moulding. In the Humidor, cigars can age under the perfect climatic conditions over a longer period of time. A high-quality touch electronic control system in connection with humidity sensors guarantees that the required temperature and air humidity are accurately maintained.

Interior fittings made of cedar wood - The two wooden presentation boxes, which vary in height, and the two wooden shelves are crafted from Spanish cedar wood.

Optimum air humidity - The integrated water tank can hold one litre of distilled water. Humidity sensors regulate the water requirement and ensure exact compliance with the selected humidity. A visual display informs the user in good time when the water has to be topped up.
