How to order a made to measure Traditional Wine Rack

When it comes to choosing a wine rack for use at home, whether it's for the prime position in the kitchen or storing in the garage, you need to make sure that it's fit for purpose. We've all been guilty of finding something and saying 'that'll do'. Then, you end up with a rack that holds fewer bottles than you require, with a further dozen stacked like a pyramid on top with a couple of odd boxes on the floor beside it! It isn't as expensive as it may sound, and it'll be bespoke to your dimensions. The only thing you need to consider is that the galvanised steel framework racks with pine slats which we call traditional wine racks, can take up to a couple of weeks to be built and delivered. They are made for you, your measurements, for your space. The beauty is that you can decide on the height, the width and the wood colour from one of the seven different finishes we offer. How do I use the Bespoke Traditional Wine Rack Calculator?

Once you have decided where you want to position the rack, you'll have to enter the dimensions into our Bespoke Traditional Wine Rack Calculator.

Step 1 Choose the bottle type you'd like to store. You can choose from Standard, Half, Champagne and Magnum sized bottles.

Step 2 Choose the depth you would like the rack. You have the option of choosing whether you would like the bottleneck protruding or enclosed. You can add bottle neck tags to protruding bottles, so you know which wine is located in each section.

Step 3 Enter the maximum height and width you have in mm. Our calculate will then work out the nearest bottle hole to your max space.

Step 4 Select the finish you would like on your rack. Constructed from natural pine wood, however, you can choose from a selection of six different stains to match your decor. The results will then populate at the bottom of the calculator for your own made to measure wine rack. It will indicate the total bottle storage, price per hole and a total cost price for the bespoke rack we're able to create for your dimensions.

Things to consider

• - It would help if you made sure the floor is stable and even.
• - The wine rack won't be in a location where you can knock it.
• - We recommend fixing it to the wall once it's been positioned. Strategically placed fixing points are included on the back of the rack.
• - The rack might be bigger than your access allows. We can create the racks in several pieces and then provide fixing kits to fix the racks back together.
