To enjoy your favourite wine, you need to use your best wine glasses, but making sure they stay in one piece, undamaged, and in the best condition can be challenging. In a typical scenario, you've grabbed your favourite bottle of red, popped the cork from the bottle, go to get your glasses from the cupboard, but you've accidentally knocked your glasses, and they've smashed! You've then got the hassle of cleaning up the broken glass; you've then not got a glass to drink from; the moment's gone. You then either go without a glass of wine or resort to using a tumbler! All is not lost, though. Forget about storing your glasses in the cupboard where they're at risk of being knocked; use a wine glass hanging rack or a glass storage box instead. These two simple solutions will help prevent you from spoiling that moment again. Of course, we can't guarantee you won't ever break a glass again, but we can certainly say it will reduce the risk! Correctly storing your glassware is essential to prevent future chipping, breakage, or cracking. You should keep your glasses away from highly used areas and not touch each other (bowl or base). We recommended that glasses be stored upside down (bowl down / base up) as this helps keep dust and other debris from collecting within the bowl.

Wine Glass Hanging Racks

We believe that one of the best ways to store glassware is with a wine glass hanging rack. The design of a glass storage rack allows you to insert the stem of the glass (any stemmed glassware) between metal prongs, so the bowl is facing downwards. Different racks will enable you to store various glass capacities ranging in width, height and depth. You can use them in the kitchen or dining at home. Alternatively, they are popular with bars and restaurants with large quantities and many different glass types.

Glass Storage Boxes

If you don't use your glasses that often or would prefer to keep your glassware stored away, our glass storage boxes are perfect! The boxes are designed with individual compartments to store each glass. Doing so prevents them from knocking on each other and prevents breaking/chipping. Storing your glasses this way keeps them out of harm's way, and it's also popular with people either moving home or those that transport glassware regularly in bulk for wine tastings.
