What is the best way to store glassware?

To enjoy your favourite wine, you need to use your best wine glasses, but making sure they stay in one piece, undamaged, and in the best condition can be challenging. In a typical scenario, you've grabbed your favourite bottle of red, popped the cork from the bottle, go to get your glasses from the cupboard, but you've accidentally knocked your glasses, and they've smashed! You've then got the hassle of cleaning up the broken glass; you've then not got a glass to drink from; the moment's gone. You then either go without a glass of wine or resort to using a tumbler! All is not lost, though. Forget about storing your glasses in the cupboard where they're at risk of being knocked; use a wine glass hanging rack or a glass storage box instead. These two simple solutions will help prevent you from spoiling that moment again. Of course, we can't guarantee you won't ever break a glass again, but we can certainly say it will reduce the risk! Correctly storing your glassware is essential to prevent future chipping, breakage, or cracking. You should keep your glasses away from highly used areas and not touch each other (bowl or base). We recommended that glasses be stored upside down (bowl down / base up) as this helps keep dust and other debris from collecting within the bowl.
